PRO-OPT made it into the IEEE Software Journal 2016 (volume 33), which was published in July/August, in the area of “Software Technology”. On pages 111-116, it is shown how companies can benefit from Big Data technologies. One application case is the cross-company use of Big Data, which is made possible by PRO-OPT. Support for selecting Big Data technologies is also given by a manifestation of the Big Data Landscape. The Big Data Landscape enables identification of the right Big Data technology for a concrete application case.
